Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), held a meeting with Lu Mei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on the importance of international cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining and the prospects for further developing cooperation between the two countries in this area.

Vugar Suleymanov expressed his gratitude to the People’s Republic of China for the financial and technical support provided to Azerbaijan’s mine action activities.

The Ambassador emphasized that China’s support to Azerbaijan in this field is a significant indicator of humanitarian cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.

The meeting continued with an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
