Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a meeting with Amy Carlon, Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the guest was provided with a comprehensive presentation on the landmine problem facing Azerbaijan and the progress humanitarian demining activities being undertaken to address it.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on United State’s potential support to humanitarian demining activities, possible cooperation prospects, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
