The Press Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) report that a landmine incident occurred on December 3, 2025 in the Shikharkh village of Aghdara region.

Nazim Panahaliyev, born in 1970, was sustained injuries to his right leg as a result of an anti-personnel mine explosion while grazing animals in an area that had not been cleared of landmines.

The injured person was evacuated to the district hospital.

The Tartar district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation.

ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the General Prosecutor's Office once again urge citizens to strictly adhere to safety rules, pay attention to mine danger signs, and avoid entering unfamiliar or potentially hazardous areas.
