Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a meeting with Houssam-Eldine Reda, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting, the ambassador was provided with detailed information about the Agency’s ongoing tasks and goals, the scale of contamination of the liberated territories with landmines and other explosive ordnance, as well as the humanitarian demining activities carried out within the framework of the Great Return program.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of experience in mine action, as well as the potential support in this field by that country.
