A Booby Trap Discovered in Shusha Region

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) reports that an explosive booby trap was discovered during a house clearance operation in the village of Kichik Galadarasi, Shusha region.

Two F-1 hand grenades set to combat mode were found, attached to a pillar and to the entrance door of the roof using a tripwire.

The discovered booby trap was neutralized by ANAMA specialists, ensuring the safety of the area. It should be noted that booby traps and improvised explosive devices are regularly encountered during demining operations in the liberated territories.

For this reason, ANAMA once again urges citizens not to enter areas or facilities unless they are certain of their safety, and not to touch unfamiliar objects.
