On 20 November 2014 the United States Department of State (USDoS) and the U.S. Embassy representatives visited ANAMA. The main purpose of the visit was to become familiar with the process of implementation of the Jeyranchel project and learning the needs of the Agency. The first meeting was held at the Agency Headquarters. USDoS Program Manager Assistant Ms. Kaitlyn Coffey, Marine Attaché Major Jason Lang, Political Officer Mr.Yaniv Barzilai from U.S. Embassy in Baku and Mr. Lorry Schnek had bilateral meeting with ANAMA department heads.


During the meeting they exchanged views and were informed about implementation of the project.

During the 2nd stage of the visit representatives of the USDoS and U.S. Embassy in Baku together with NATO Support Agency (NSPA) Representative Ms. Gvantsa Kvinikadze visited ANAMA Goygol Regional Training Base (GRTB) and the territory of Jeyranchel project implementation at Agstafa district. At Goygol base the guests were provided with presentation about the activity of the Agency, an equipment exhibition was organized, and then the guests received a tour of the facilities at GRTB.

The guests appreciated achievements of the agency since it was established; the most important projects have been implemented, as well as local and international trainings.


During the joint visit to Saloglu base and the territory of Jeyranchel, the Regional Operations Manager Mr. Mammadov gave detailed briefings and answered a variety of technical questions were given by the guests.
