On November 16, 2011 ANAMA Director Mr. Nazim Ismayilov paid a visit to NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The main purpose of the visit was to provide briefings regarding the successful completion of the joint Partnership for Peace Trust Fund “Saloglu” Project between ANAMA and NATO/NAMSA as well as to discuss the second NATO PfP Trust Fund Project in Azerbaijan – Jeyranchel Clearance Project (JCP). ANAMA Director Mr. Ismayilov and ANAMA Operations Officer Mr. Mammadzada attended a meeting organized at the US Mission to NATO. The United States is the Lead nation in Jeyranchel Project. There were 13 different NATO missions represented by their experts in the meeting including Romania, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland, United Kingdom, Croatia, Hungary, Belgium, Netherlands, Slovenia, Finland and Experts from NATO International Secretariat. Beside the detailed discussions about the Project ANAMA Director presented a detailed presentation about the technical and humanitarian aspects of Project. On 17th November Mr. Ismayilov paid a visit to NAMSA HQs in Luxembourg where detailed discussions on technical issues related to Jeyranchel Clearance Project were discussed including the official Opening of the Project.
