South Caucasus, Tbilisi: Eight staff members from ANAMA attended the Middle Managers Training Course organized by Cranfield University-Mine Action (UK), Georgian Technical University, the Center for Management Development and Training at the faculty of Economics in Ljubljana and International Trust Fund (ITF) for Demining and Mine Victim Assistance. The Middle Managers Training Course consisted of two modules which continued for three months from December 2004 until February 2005. The Training Course provided a wonderful opportunity for ANAMA to share its experience with other Mine Action programs within the South Caucasus. During the Training ANAMA representatives familiarized the participants with Azerbaijan Mine Action, came up with the PowerPoint presentation covering the aspects of demining activities and obtained all the necessary managerial skills to be applied during the daily operations in the field. A Letter of Appreciation has been provided to ANAMA by the Manager of the Course for the demonstration of advanced knowledge by ANAMA staff during the Training.
