On 22-28 November 2010, 7 Officers of Tajikistan Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CoES) paid a visit to ANAMA for one week study tour on Explosive Ordnance Disposal subject trainings. Within the frame of the agenda, on 23 November the guests visited Goygol Regional Base/ANAMA Mine Action Resource and Training Center, where they have been briefed by TSQA Division Leader E.Gasimov on the activities of TSQA division including information on new methods and methodologies applied for enhancing training, survey, monitoring/QA/QC procedures. The next day, Tajikistan CoES Officers had an opportunity to visit the Abandoned Ammunition Storage Area clearance operations in Agstafa village of Saloglu region. Observation of UXO clearance operations and detailed briefings about the Project was delivered by EOD officer Parviz Gidayev. During the visit of operations field within Saloglu Project for two days date December 24-25, 2010 they'd acquainted render methodology using new methods and equipments in order to clean of fields from UXO. 27 November 2010, CoES Officers met with ANAMA Director and ANAMA HQs staff. They expressed their gratitude regarding professionally hosted EOD study tour and mentioned that ANAMA reached successful and significant results in implementing of UXO and mine disposal operations. Tajik officers noted that they gained good tactical and operational skills experience in EOD management based on ANAMA experience.
