As a part of overall MRE activity ANAMA prepared the project by the financial support of UNICEF/Azerbaijan. The program covered 26 frontline close schools in Fizuli district and involved 5500 students. The aim of the contest was to study the knowledge and understanding of the schoolchildren, about war, bad menace of it, about mines and UXO that maimed and killed thousands of innocent people, especially children. The school kids could freely illustrate their point of view through paintings, the real picture and bad result of war, their intention of peace and humanity; they could divide good and bad forces, angel and evil in their paintings. Being a joint endeavor of UNICEF and ANAMA, and held under the motto of "Mines free world" this painting contest consists of 9 nominations. The best pictures were selected for remuneration by the jury which has been formed of ANAMA specialists and local Education Department.
