Vahid Aliyev, 52, war disabled from Gobu village who lost his legs above knee in mine incident in the car hitted antitank mine on January 6, 1994. In 1999 he came through heart attack. Vahid has three sons, 23, 21 and 20 years old. He is retired and receives about 110$ per month. One of the sons is university student, others are running the small food shop next to their home. Recently Vahid Aliyev applied to ANAMA and asked to provide him a wheelchair since he has the very old one. On September 12, ANAMA MVA officer Mr. Rauf Mamedov together with another staff member Mr. Jeyhun Guliyev visited him and handed over the wheelchair donated by the USEUCOM personnel for the ANAMA's mine victim assistance program.
