ANAMA and "Eduaz.com" LLC have initiated a new collaboration in the field of mine risk education

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) continues sessions regarding Danger of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (DEORE) which is one of its main priority areas in terms of activities in combating the threat of mines.

ANAMA and "Eduaz.com" LLC have started a partnership in the field of Danger of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education. The aim of the training, which is open to everyone and organized in an online format, is to reach a larger audience and provide information about mine risks. Through this joint collaboration, individuals who participate in the online training will become familiar with the explanation of mine risks, the dangers of mines and explosive devices, potential consequences, behavioral rules in suspicious areas, and warning signs.

The training embodies five golden rules: "Do not step aside from designated areas, roads, and paths! Do not touch unknown and suspicious objects! Do not approach areas with abandoned military ordnance and equipment! Do not enter areas with scattered residential and other buildings! Do not approach areas with trenches and shelters!"

It should be noted that those who wish to participate in the Danger of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education training can easily access and watch the training on the Agency's website under the section "Activity – Risk Education Works" (https://anama.gov.az/en/enlightenment-works). Upon completion, they can obtain a QR-coded digital certificate from ANAMA.

EDUAZ, an online training platform whose mission is to provide digital opportunities in the field of education to all individuals and institutions, has been developed by local experts. It possesses various tools to ensure the effectiveness of the training. Participants of the Danger of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education training can watch it from anywhere and at any time, take self-assessment tests, and have the opportunity to review training materials at their convenience.

The implementation of extensive training will contribute to the safe return of the former internally displaced persons about to their native lands and to raising awareness among representatives engaged in rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the liberated territories, as well as travelers.
