Educational training sessions for the population relocated to the Lachin district ANAMA has initiated

The ongoing Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) Awareness Education conducted by the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) plays a significant role in ensuring the safe and sustainable resettlement of the population in the liberated territories and the creation of a secure environment.

As part of the return of former internally displaced persons to the rehabilitated and newly established city of Lachin, ANAMA has initiated ERW Awareness Education sessions for the residents who have migrated to the region.

The training sessions, attended by the returning residents of Lachin, provide information on mine hazards, signs of suspicious areas, behavior guidelines in unfamiliar territories, warning signs, and the potential injuries caused by explosive devices. Participants are provided with brochures and posters that contain informative and instructive guidelines during the training sessions.

Every citizen should be aware that through their disciplined, responsible, and cautious behavior, they can protect themselves and their loved ones from potential mine incidents.

Let us not forget that explosive devices do not discriminate among people!
