On May 12, 2023, a presentation ceremony was held for the book "Breaking Ground" (Canlanan Torpaq) by Heidi Kühn, the founder and leader of the international humanitarian organization "Roots of Peace," which is dedicated to the mine threat and has been translated into Azerbaijani.

The book "Breaking Ground" portrays the horrors of mine terrorism and the impact of mines and explosive devices in countries affected by mines and wars, reflecting the scenes witnessed by the author herself.

In addition, the book highlights the successes achieved through Heidi Kühn's agricultural projects in the years following the establishment of the "Roots of Peace" organization. These successes include the fight against mines, the revitalization of devastated lands, and the positive impact on the lives of countless people.

The event, held at the administrative building of the Baku Higher Oil School (BANM), was attended by Vugar Suleymanov, the Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Umud Mirzayev, the President of BAMF, Heidi Kühn, the founder and leader of "Roots of Peace," Elmar Gasimov, the Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School, as well as members of the Public Council alongside ANAMA and students of BANM.
