The leader of the international humanitarian organization "Roots of Peace," Heidi Kühn, who is currently on a visit to Azerbaijan, has been announced as the laureate of the "2023 World Food Prize."

During her visit to Azerbaijan from May 9th to 13th, Heidi Kühn, the founder and leader of the international humanitarian organization "Roots of Peace," was announced as the laureate of the "2023 World Food Prize."

The award ceremony for the "2023 World Food Prize," also known as "The 2023 World Food Prize," took place at the U.S. Department of State Academy, where Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered a speech

It is important to note that individuals who have contributed to improving the quality, quantity, and availability of food worldwide, regardless of their race, religion, nationality, or political beliefs, are honored with the "World Food Prize" annually since 1986.

For over twenty years, Ms. Heidi has been actively engaged in agricultural revitalization, using agricultural techniques to restore peace and prosperity to over a million people living in war-affected regions around the world.

This marks the second visit of the organization's leader to our country, and she continues to support agricultural development through her initiative "Mines to Vines," which aims to convert mine-contaminated areas into productive vineyards.
