ANAMA and AZERISHIQ OJSC Commence Cooperation

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) is actively engaged in collaborative efforts with other organizations towards Explosive Ordnance Risk Education Programme.

Azerishiq OJSC is further contributing to awareness activities in the field of mine action through their continued cooperation with ANAMA.

As a result of this cooperation, ANAMA and "Azerishiq" OJSC have begun printing warning and educational information on the back of energy consumption notification receipts provided to subscribers.

The notification receipts will include information about the danger of explosive ordnance and will be distributed in the districts of Shusha, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Khojavand, Agjabadi, Goranboy, Goygol, Dashkesan, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar, Jabrayil, Gubadli, Tartar, and Barda.

In total, more than 393,000 people benefited from ANAMA awareness activities in the post-war period. Also, the educational program “Training of Trainers” for specialists of government agencies and private enterprises continues.

Since last year, payment receipts presented at Azpetrol fuel stations located in Beylagan, Fuzuli, Zangilan, and Goygol districts have included a message displayed as "There is someone waiting for you at home. Be aware of mines, don't risk your life!"

Join us in our collaborative efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of explosive ordnance and protect more people from the threat of landmines. Through inter-agency joint action, we can lay the groundwork for the safety of thousands of lives. Let's work together to make a difference!
