Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), met with Ms. Kristina Johannesson, Sweden's Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership Program of the European Union, and Tobias Lorentzson, The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, information was provided about the extent of the mine problem in the liberated territories, its consequences, and the restoration of the liberated territories, which is one of the key targets of the National Priorities for Azerbaijan 2030: Socio-Economic Development and the safe return of former internally displaced persons (IDPs).

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the possibilities of cooperation in the field of demining, neutralization of explosive ammunition, risk assessment, topography, geodesy and other fields.
