Lethal Explosive Devices Uncovered in Aghdam Region

Improvised explosive devices (IEDs) with high explosive power, installed by the enemy, were discovered during demining operations in the recently liberated areas of the Aghdam region.

It was discovered that 1, unit of 240mm turbojet blast projectile M-24F (M-24FUD) and over 30 units of 120mm Mortar High Explosive (HE) rounds were compactly placed inside mounds alongside the roadside and concealed with soil.

It's worth noting that each 120-mm mortar shell is loaded with more than 3 kg of explosives, and its purpose is to wreak havoc on mechanical vehicles and human lives

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) has announced that its demining teams are tirelessly working to clear areas that have been liberated from occupation.

Instances such as these that arise during demining operations - specifically, the presence of special-purpose explosive devices and booby traps - serve as evidence of the enemy's terrorism targeting civilians in an attempt to cause fatal explosions.

ANAMA has issued another warning to citizens, urging them to refrain from entering areas where their safety is uncertain.
