The Press Service of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) informs that a significant amount of explosive material has been discovered in the farm-type building associated with the residential building located near the wine factory in the Xocavand village of the Xocavand district.

During the operations conducted by ANAMA personnel, improvised explosive devices, explosive materials, both electric and non-electric detonators, numerous explosive charges prepared for powerful explosions, as well as improvised explosive devices installed using D1 hand grenades manufactured in Armenia, were discovered on the site.

The discovered explosive materials have been neutralized by ANAMA personnel, ensuring the safety of the area.

It should be noted that during mine clearance operations carried out in the liberated territories, anti-personnel mines and improvised explosive devices are frequently encountered. For this reason, ANAMA once again calls on citizens not to enter areas or facilities where they are not sure of their safety and to refrain from touching unfamiliar objects.
